Ceramics as a slow gesture, matter taking shape
There’s something deeply magical about watching a simple piece of clay transform into an art object under your fingers, in a direct dialogue between hand, matter and imagination. To discover this magic we’ll enter the workshop of Giacomo and Caterina, two master artisans who have made ceramics not just a craft, but a true expressive language, capable of telling stories, emotions and identities.
Under their attentive and inspiring guidance, we’ll learn to shape clay, approaching basic working techniques and understanding the importance of time, listening and patience needed to give form to ideas. No artistic experience is required: just curiosity, the desire to experiment and the willingness to be guided by touch and intuition, rediscovering the pleasure of creating slowly.
From this process a unique object will emerge, shaped entirely by our hands. Whether it’s a bowl, a small vase or a coffee cup, each piece will carry the personal imprint of whoever made it and will become a tangible memory to take home, a symbol of an authentic and deeply human experience.
