From the forest to the table: chestnuts as a story of the land

We will stroll through the centuries-old chestnut groves of Il Marrone farm, a landscape that speaks of time, care, and continuity. Here Matteo and his family proudly preserve a native variety of chestnut, the Marrone, prized for its natural sweetness and fine texture, the result of a delicate balance between soil, climate, and traditional farming knowledge.

The tour will continue in the company’s workshop, where the story becomes reality: we will discover how chestnuts are transformed into artisanal delicacies through careful processes that respect the raw material. We will see how chestnut flour, the basis for fragrant and aromatic biscuits, is made, and we will understand how velvety spreads and aromatic liqueurs are created, capable of encapsulating the essence of the undergrowth in a single sip.

Of course, the experience will end with a final tasting: a convivial moment in which to sample biscuits, creams, and a sip of their liqueurs, to conclude the journey with taste and take away an authentic memory, made up of flavors, stories, and deep connections with the land.
